I have always been involved in marketing, digital strategies and online sales with a specific focus on marketplace dynamics. I have developed an e-commerce platform dedicated to Made in Italy (www.e-italy.com), connected with 11 Amazon accounts (IT, DE, FR, ES, NL, SE, PL, UK, US, CA, MX) and 9 Ebay.
Together with the students of the Web Marketing faculty of the IUSVE (VE) I created the first complete mapping of all marketplaces and online distribution at Italian, European and extra-European level, Food and non-Food.
The result of this research is collected in the book Selling online with the marketplace map, published by Hoepli. In this manual I have tried to outline the best digital strategy for the Italian company.
I write books to digitize micro-enterprises and I do courses and consultancy to humanize digital. I know I don't know (yet enough), but I don't use it as an excuse to give up. After all, I have no alternative but to put my two cents.

What have I learned over the years ...

To shorten the distance between online and offline

Online and offline are more alike than they seem. Keep calm, we are always in the same comfort zone.

To set the most correct strategy

No project can be successful without setting a strategy that is measured on the company.

To set the right goals

But before the strategy, it is necessary to have clear objectives to be achieved on a timeline aware of resources and skills.

To verify the results

Only with clear objectives and a correct strategy you can measure the results and reschedule a new (upgrade) strategy.

What I do

Functional and online market analysis

I verify that there are the conditions for online sales for companies that have not yet approached the digital channel independently. I measure the maturity of the market with respect to the customer catalog and report a global assessment document.

E-commerce projects

I project tailor-made e-commerce development with my work team. I also follow and control the development by external agencies. Sometimes they call me to implement the already existing e-commerce performance by reviewing the entire digital strategy of the company

Marketplace

I open an Amazon and / or Ebay account for companies that want to approach these MPs and that have already verified the feasibility. On the contrary we evaluate together which online distribution channel is the most consistent for the company business.

Training and mentoring for the digital transformation

I teach courses and Masters in Italy and abroad on online sales and digital export through marketplaces. I collaborate with the main state and private trade associations for the development of companies in the digital field through ad hoc courses in the company.
